The climatic health resort of Trippstadt lies in the heart of the biosphere reserve "Naturpark Pfälzerwald", and offers a wealth of attractions amid unspoilt nature: the baroque castle and garden in Freiherrn von Hacke, the romantic Karlstal Gorge, classic open-air concerts in the castle ruins of Wilenstein, the Brunnenstollen, the new ironworks museum, the "sculpture path" with its stone, wooden and metal sculptures designed by international artists, and much more. Numerous sports and leisure facilities are also available in the nearby surroundings. We recommend in particular a trip to the heated outdoor pool just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. This is open from mid-May through to mid-September, and the water temperature is at least 23°. Hotel guests receive reduced entry to the pool.
